Seals….everywhere. In every little bay there are seal pups with anxious mothers wavering in the shallows…and further out the bulls patrolling. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This pup is just about big enough to be out on its own: looking a little bemused on Porth Sele beach as humans emerge from their tents.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The biggest collections of pups we saw in in the coves on the north coast: take the footpath over the hill from the YHA. Although you can get great, very close views of those right on the point of Pen dal Aderyn between St Justinian’s and Porth Henllys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you go to the north coast you can walk along to Carn Penberi in an hour or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a cold North-westerly St Non’s bay is the place to sit in the sun. There’s a secret path directly down from the Chapel: a steep descent down a narrow gap in the cliff to a hidden corner of pebble beach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

September is good for mushrooms. A huge flush of Parasols decorated the coast path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
